The 2000 C5 wheels show in my reference table from VETTE magazine as 18 x 10.5 with a 58mm offset. That works out to about a 8.0" backspace, which is about 1/10" too much for a 4th Gen. You might be able to get away with some heavy hammering of the inner fender liners, much the way SOME of us with 7.93" backspace ZR1 wheels have done. Depends to some extent on the size tire you put on the wheel.

Re: 18" x 10.5" Y2k rims will they fit my camaro?

My rear 18x9.5 C5 rear wheels with the standard C5 offset rubbed a bit on the inner fender in the front of each wheel. I had to do a little pounding there to make them work. I'm pretty sure an 18x10.5 would have required a spacer.

To make my problem worse I bought a Moser 9" after getting the Y2k's, the Moser is 1/2" narrower on each side than the 10bolt which didnt help my clearance problem any. More pounding + spacers fixed that though

Are yours silver painted rims? If so, want to swap a pair of your 18x10.5's for my rear 18x9.5's??? You could run them up front and could keep your tires, they are the correct size for mine. Let me know

Damn, I'd love some 18x10.5's out back, worth a try.

You may be able to swap them with someone out there though, I'd put a post up in the for sale section, I'd bet someone with Chrome Y2K's would do the trade. Good luck.
