17in tt2's vs. 18TT's

im going to put some TT's on my car but cant decide between 17 and 18's. I want 18s but there also 150 bucks more per wheel than 17's and 17's are cheaper on tires. so is that 1in worth the extra probably 700 bucks? and should i get chrome or polished? chrome is 35 bucks more a wheel

I would go with the 18" TT2's and the chrome, because the polished are a lot more work to keep lookin good.

17" chrome TT2s. Cheaper and I think are better looking. 18" TT2s at all 4 corners will look weird. You will probably have a rougher ride too since you have less rubber. Save your money and get the 17s

i voted for 18. trust me if you get 17's within a month you will want bigger. i have 18s and wish i had 19's. mine are polished and kind of a pain to clean so if you can get them chrome do that but make sure its not just the ones that are chrome spokes

pics are in the sig

i dont know about the chrome spokes? they said 315 chrome or 280 polished, i guess i should ask.. i know i dont want to go bigger i already did that with the 20's and im tired of the ride/+ my car is too low for them, i have to watch for everything in the road thats why i want 17's or 18's so i can have some more tire under there and more wheel well chearance

soap and water and they're shiny! i dont drive it in the rain or snow or anything so basically they just get dusty. not sure how everyday use would change the cleaning process. anyone else know? though i have heard of some people having to break an arm trying to clean theirs all the time!

Wink

I would go with 17's myself because I have been known to race on my street wheels...And I need DR for hooking at the track when not on slicks..
