Re: 16 and 17?

I think vettes have been running 2 sizes for years.

I found a good deal on a pair of 17s, and my rear tires are due for replacing, so it got me wondering.

the other thing is, when cornering my car semi aggressively, the front seems more planted, whereas I feel a slight squirming in the rear (probably because I run lower pressures in the rear to make them wear even).

so by running 17s, I would have lower profile tires, maybe fixing the squirm?

For the corvettes, i think the rear tires are taller thats why they have bigger wheels in the back. On your car all the tires are the same height, so if you wanted staggered wheels then you will have to have different side wall heights to make up for it.
If you were thinking of putting 2 different styels of wheels on your car, dont, it looks bad IMO.
