15x4 Prostars

I am looking to get some prostars, and I see alot of people running the 3.5" wheel with the 1 3/4" BS. Most people have to use a spacer with them due to clearance issues as well, and with that they don't like how far out the wheel sits. So I am looking to buy the 15x4 Weld pro-stars, they have a 2.25" BS. Will this work? I thought this would be a good alternative, and read before that the Centerline Convo Pro's 15x4 with a BS of 2 5/16's is perfect for our cars however they don't offer anything for the rear with the correct BS so i don't want to run them. Would I still need a spacer for the 15x4's as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 15x4 Prostars

Its not the backspacing on the draglite/star rims, its a bulge on the flat part of the rim that mates to the spindle where the studs are.It sticks out and hits brake parts, the spacer moves the rim out to avoid rubbing. You would have to use a spacer weather its a 3.5 or a 6 inch rim,its going to stick out 5/16ths more no matter what with these rims.
The centerline telstar is smooth on the back side and will not hit anything there for can sit in 5/16s further also thats more lugnut threads to hold the rim on.
