the block is already .40 over its corroded with rust and on number 4 cylinder theres a big chunk that is missing its so thin theres nothing left on the cylinders.thats whats wrong with it.

ok i sold you a shortblock, i told you it had surface rust that would be bored out when you went .030 over like you said you were...your mechanic first told me that he thought the rust was too bad and it would need """""At LEAST .060 over if its good at all"""""
but i proceded to tell him that .030 over is alot and 2 months worth of surface rust wasnt going to be ate in that deep yet, as i inspected it before i delivered it an hour and a half away.....and i talked to my guy (which helped build my last motor) and hes the one that told me that it wouldent be a problem a bore and hone wouold clean it out and it would look new....i also asked youe mecahnic to get his dingleberry hone(which most mechanics have that have ewver touched a motor ) and he told me he didnt have one ( i wanted him to run throught it real quick because that would knock off most of the rust that was in it if not all!)

so anywasy you sent me a messsage and told me that it was .040 over, i have no clue how you figured this because the motor was stock in a bone stock camaro that was a friend of mine 2 owner car him and his friends gf since it was new....never been apart...and i inspected it also for thie before i delivered it because it had stock pictons in it if it had ever been apart and been rebuilt with stock style replacement pictons they will say on the top of them .040 (meaning that much over stock) which they didnt....

i also told you i have another block here that you can get but i have no clue its condition, i am posative that the block i gave you was good, i double and tripple checked it....the other one i have also has stock pistons not marked so it appears to be a stock bore, not clue if its been line bored or rods resized though.....

youll need over a year to get that deep

i told you then to take it to the machine shop

i already told you that my mechanic measured it and its a .40 bore, when he took all the pistons theres more corroded rust and a big chunck that is missing on one of the cylinder you cant bore more because theres nothing left on the cylinder walls,i told you this over and over again, stop making excuses and come get your block and i want my money back end of story period?

ive been asking you to come to the shop for 3 weeks now so we can show it to you on whats all inside the block when we took the pistons off but all i get is a run around excuse, not returning any of my calls and emails and it so funny it had to go thru the forum for you to respond?

Ive seen the car run that the block came out of, and I personally lloked at the block when it was out of the car, it is stock bore.... It had NEVER been rebuilt, original bottom end. You want some advice, find a new mechanic, the one you have is a MORON!

read what i wrote when he took the pistons out?he has 2 blocks so you be might talking about the other block im trying to trade that with that too,he just wont do it.i know youll buddies and your protecting your friend the point is your friend rip me off with 200 dollars,he would have return my money or exchange the block because i know he still have one .you can say whatever stories you can make up but thats what daniel6718 did to me period,if hes a good seller he would have return my money or exchange the block simple as that instead of a run around excuse.

I know which one he sold you, and he pulled it out of the car running, and im pretty sure there wouldnt be a hole missing if the motor was running, and was running like a champ...

EDIT: Would you mind snaping some pics for us, I would love to see the hole in the cylinder wall, and the .030 on top of the piston, with the piston in the motor, or maybe a snap a pic of the dial on a set of calipers measuring the diameter of the cylinder.
