WTB: Home stuff

I'm going to get married pretty soon, and we will be moving into a home somewhere here in Houston. Both my fiancee and I are saving for the move and living with our parents for the time being. That said, we have absolutely nothing as far as furniture, decor, appliances, save for 2 beds and a couple dressers.

So, if anyone is thinking about upgrading furniture/appliances, please let me know if you'd have anything to part with. I'm not necessarily looking for a freebie, just a good deal. Also, while cheap is good, ghetto and trashy ain't . Looking for stuff in good, clean condition.

Refridgerator
Dining room set
Couches
Entertainment center
LS1 mods (j/k )
Washer/Dryer
Tool box/garage stuff
Home electronics
Etc...

Heck, if anyone works at a store that sells this stuff and is looking for biz, shoot me a pm.

I might be coerced into selling you my newly finished kegerator. It looks badass all painted up. You know you'll want more beer once you get married!

Kyle: I thought about posting that up there after talking to you .

Thanks for the heads up, Neil. That's a good place to start.

Dude: I'm sure the non-running cars and cinder blocks will come with time.

Best advice I can give is learn to say "Yes, Dear" in a very sincere manner.

Working on 5 myself.... both a blessing and a curse. Women become easier to live with the faster you just agree with them. Congrats man!

looks like some good marriage advice for our young readers. lol.

You have to pick your battles and only pick ones that you wanna win. Remember a woman can stay pissed for a long time and after about 3 days with no sex, you start seeing their side of the argument, lol.

Remember to work "and to be content to have new wheels and old furniture" into the vows...that way she knows what she's getting into!

Seriously- you guys will do great things together, great couple.

now... the next time you buy a hot rod it will just be that you are buying it for her so you can hit the cruises and track together right? That's the easiest way i have found to bring home new toys "but i thought you would like it?" are famous words at my house!

I'll keep my eye out for some more stuff for ya.

Thanks guys . Yes, the next "her" car will be a GTO - just so she has something reliable - yeah, that's it .

So far, I found a washer/dryer in town for ~100 bucks. I will be picking it up this weekend.

Thanks, Mitch. As we search for a house I'm planting seeds and keeping an eye open for the future "Rutherford Motorsport Complex" . My parents are having their 30th anniversary next year and are going to Europe. I guess its not all bad .

Lloyd: No sex for 3 days? And you're complaining?

I have a $500.00 computer desk, I got from Lowes, you can have if you want to come to Ft worth and get it? It is taking up too much room in my garage. That is the only room I have left from my wife... Married two years and would not trade her for the world!!!!
LMK,
Steve
