It'll be 3-4 months before I even get the car back running and even then it will be a FULL weight T/A with EVERY freakin option so the car will be 3800 LBS with driver. It should still run some respectablke mid 11's at 118 MPH or so with the 4l60, 3.42 gears, A/C, cruise, elec seats. windows, locks, 12 disc CD changer, etc, etc.

Just a nice running STREET car with more emphasis on STREET than most people have.

The car would OBVIOUSLY be fatser after removing 600-700 LBS, more gear, more stall, 3 speed auto trans, no A/C, etc, etc but that is not what I am after. If I want to build a fast car, why even start with ione of these heavy bastards. LOL. Just start with a 64 Chevy II and get the car in the 2400-2600 LB range with driver, powerglide. trans brake, etc, etc.
