wtb 1993-97 lt1 z28
Re: wtb 1993-97 lt1 z28
If you're interested, here is a thread I started earlier when I was thinking about selling the Z.
NBred94's For Sale Thread
It just ticked over 100K. I probably won't go down on the price too much as I am not in a hurry to sell it, but it is a very solid car.
I also have the parts to do the LS1 front brake upgrade and 1LE lower control arms for the front (to replace squeaky poly bushings) that I have not had the time to install yet.
PM me if you're intersted, thanks.
There was another guy in Austin, I think his username is 'voodoochile' trying to sell his (1995, I think) as well. If you did a search, you could probably find his thread too.

Re: wtb 1993-97 lt1 z28
Thanks Nbred. I also having been lookmig to sell mine. I just don't drive it anymore. Me and the wife carpool to work and use her car for pretty much eveything. I use it oiccasionally to go play golf or whatnot but just need something 4dr. I don't really have a need to sell but would hate to see it just sit there with no one to drive her. I'm now older (32) and don't really go out to the "local hangouts" so.... Anyway, here is a copy/paste of my F/S. I also have more pics at my work computer that I can send on Monday if you are interested.
I am looking to sell/trade my 95Z. I already have one child and just found out that another is on the way. This car was fine with one car seat but 2 will be pushing it. Here is the descriptions for both appearance and performance.
Stock/Appearance:
95Z A4 hardtop with 100k miles (just turned 100K)
Red exterior/Charcoal cloth interior (tear on driver seat with patch)
Whiteface Guages
17x9 ZR1 style genuine GM wheels
275/40/50 tires w/40% tread on rear - 245/45/17 (new) on front
Suncoast Creations Z style hood
Bose CD
new GM OPTI and timing chain (replaced 13k ago)
tinted windows
Firebird T-handle shifter w/leather shift boot
pwr Windows, locks, driver seat - all in working order
Cruise Control
Alarm
Performance:
GM Hotcam kit (cam, 1.6 RR, springs, etc)
ported stock heads
Over Valve Cover wires
EGR! & AIR! (I have stock equipment if needed)
SLP 1 3/4" headers
Ported stock 52mm throttle body
functional ram air with hood
Flowmaster catback with Trans Am dual tips
3.42 geared rear end
PCMforless programming with cable for tuning/scanning
Rebuilt transmission w/stock stall (24mo/24kmi warranty - 5 months & 3-4k miles ago)
The car is in excellent working condition and has been used as a daily driver by me for the past 3 1/2 yrs. The car starts right up, does not smoke or use any oil (the underside of the car is bone dry = no leaks), and does not overheat in the Texas summer heat with the AC blowing in stop/go traffic. The cam/heads/OPTI/timing chain were done about 13k miles ago.
The transmission was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago
There is nothing wrong mechanically or visually with this car other than the tear in the driver seat and the roof clear coat is starting to fade. Here is a website with some pics of my car:

I also have additional pictures available upon request. I am asking for $5500. The car has never been to the track, dynoed or ragged on but does run very nicley on the street. You will not find a nicer Z for the price. Please email me at kylehoward@allstate.com or post here. Thanks,
Kyle

Re: wtb 1993-97 lt1 z28
I've got a 95 z28 a4 with 93k on it. It is white/black hardtop with the red/black cloth interior. Just a few upgrades:
SLP loudmouth exhaust
LPE cold-air induction
1LE elbow
Autometer A/F and Vac gauges in dual pillar pod
17x9.5" Enkei V1 wheels (silver with polished deep-dish lip)
It had the infamous rear intake leak, but I just got that replaced and the intake and heads were cleaned out at the same time. There are a few pics in the sig. I would like to get $6000 for it, let me know if your interested.

Re: wtb 1993-97 lt1 z28
If you're looking for a project car, I'm looking to get rid of a 1993 Z28 M6. Blown motor..we suspect broken crankshaft. Transmission eneds to be rebuilt...HP engineering said about 800-1000. Body is in perfect condition, and it was painted about a year ago. Red. Only blemish on the paint is at the left signal light where it bumped a pole, a little yellow paint is there, hardley noticeable. let me know if you're interested.
