Here we go 'Stros fans! I remember reading a week or so ago when the skipper said how we'd need to take 40 of the next 55 games in order to catch up to the Cards but we're only 5 games out. Not only that but we're only 1.5 games out of Wild Card contention.

We do have our work cut out for us in the next couple of weeks with the Reds and the Brew Crew, but I have a great feeling that we can not only take the Wild Card, but surpass and possibly take the division.

On a side note: Has anyone wondered why we haven't sent Lidge down to AAA for a couple weeks? It's almost too late now but I think it would have been a good idea. It would have settled him down for the last stretch of our run.
