I ordered my tranny this morning. I'm pulling the 4L60E and going with a TH400. I am going to need my driveshaft shortened by 1.5-2". Who can do it locally? It's aluminum BTW. I want to make sure it's done right and will still be balanced. Thanks for any advice.

 

It possible but most places do not recommend it..I had a custom steel driveshaft made and it will never break..

I would just have one made if I were you
