where to get my 4l60e rebuilt in D.F.W?
nowhere...not if you want it to last and your hotrodding your car...id recommend to take the extra trouble and send it to frank at cpt..hes doing my 2nd tranny right now, never had a problem from them at all...my old one has about 15k miles and about 100+ nitrous passes and still pulling perfectly
If you want to keep it local you might call up Jack Laswell of

He's very popular in the Turbo Buick world and actually races a LT1 Camaro, but I beleive its a 6-spd. Call him up and ask him if he's knowlegable about the 4L60E, he'll be completely honest and will be happy to work with any vendor you perfer on getting parts from as well.
He definitely knows how to build a stout pewny 2004R tanny.
He is a fantastic person to deal with and treats every car as if it were his own...and he has several very nice GNs.
