where to cruise or hang out in S.A. on friday or sat. night?
Believe it or not, downtown. Right in the heart of downtown S.A. They have ALL kinds of rides thar cruise AND race until the cops close down the streets at 3:00AM. They have this one club of cars from like the 40's or 50's, they have lowriders with hydraulics, SUV's with 20+ inch rims and screens, imports, domestics. Everything. You can head down there at about 11:30 or later, that's when business picks up. Just go down Commerce and you're bound to run into some cars and you can just follow them and find your way around from there. but DON'T rae on Commerce, the cops are everywhere. Instead, turn left onto market or another st. Have fun, I know I did, before my engine turned into toast last week.
I raced a 2002 Carrera down there a couple of weeks ago silver, bad *** rims, got my *** handed to me, but it was fun.
You can go to SW military drive, where they race and show off, but the cops are there, too.
Same for Bandera Road
And the Super Walmart on Nacogdoches and 1604. Avoid Wal-Mart at ALL costs. the cops close off the parking lot where everyone hangs put and then writes tickets, photograph your car, take live video from 360 degree angle, write down engine vin, vin, etc. Its a shame what happened to Wal-Mart, the turnaround over there was the BEST drag spot in town. About a 1/16th of a mile, though. After 2 years of racing down there, not one person died. Not ONE. But eversince the fast & furious came out, 16 year olds have been dying from racing in 5:00 traffic

I second Harper's, but as mentioned, its 95% old school cars (50-70's). Its a relatively small parking lot, though.
The ricers did mess everything up. Sound like a bunch of locusts, the cops just listen for that noise and know where to go right away... You can get a good race off, but be very careful not to get caught.
If you don't want to race, you can be like my friend with the Montero, and just cruise the streets all night long. (He had like 4 montero's following him last week, it was bad)
