I took a vaccum hose and held it to my ear to listen down below to find out where exactly the sound is coming from it has also progressed somewhat as far as the sound it makes. It appears as if I have a leak on the passenger side header, there was a small leak noted by Jordan and myself at the time of the first start up on the car, but I think it has gotten worse. If that is all that it is I will be happy, but reguardless I am checking out the filter and plug tonight. It would make sense though because you can ask Jordan it is a good built motor and while he didn't pick the parts he did a good job putting it together other then his friends most wouldn't understand. Meeting me was probably like a cruel punishment for Jordan lol. Hopefully I didn't trash the gasket

Thumbs up

if it's just a gasket.... then that's an easy fix!

well I was told it was a 383, what exactly is it Brooke? I obviously wouldn't call it a 383 if I didn't think it was

what dyno/track numbers are you expecting from this motor?

Who did your heads? Stock casting or what? N/A or are you gonna juice it?

Yup yup
Your engine has a 3.75" stroke...so....
4.000 bore is 376.99 cubes
4.010 is 378.88
4.020 is 380.77
4.030 is 382.67
4.040 is 384.57
4.050 is 386.48
4.060 is 388.39

well saying I have a 381 sounds kind of Canadian to me, so as long as I am not exposed by Brooke again I would prefer to call it a 383, I mean I already lie about the size of my dingis so whats the big deal? j/k

I am not gonna juice it for now, I , although I am sure I can take a 150 shot with no problems there aren't ever any guarantees and I can't afford to be stupid and ruin the motor, and it feels very fast as it is. Plus if someone gets me a job the kit I have is theres.....I have stock castings but they have been done and done again. Jordan said they looked nice for what thats worth and they flow awesome. As far as the dyno and # I haven't had a chance to get either done yet, I will once I have the $, time, and the last of the "kinks" worked out. If Jordan reads this he can probably give a pretty close estimate because he knows what my hooptie is made of. I would guess close to 500 rwhp N/A and probably mid 11's I could be off, I just remember Jordan shooting out the 500 # before after the motor was done, then again me thinks he may have just told me that without thinking. I was at 387rwhp before the 381.055573 build out , plus I put in a MUCH MUCH bigger cam a cc306 compare to my BS AMS extreme cam and had my heads reported and gained an avg of 45 CFM across the board so I guess maybe it is possible
