Tuning my 1995 Z28
Tuning my 1995 Z28
gawd what a nightmare....i can't seem to fine ANYONE in the DFW area that can tune my car, wtf!?!
Anyone know of someone that's RELIABLE on setting up a time and being able to do an awesome tune on my Z? (sorry Saladbar, i need this **** tuned, i know you are busy
)
I prefer a dyno tune, along with a ride-along to get the part-throttle stuff worked out.
all I have for mods is comp305 cam, 1.6 rockers, LT's and true duals, and all the rest of the small boltons, it's a manual 6 speed car.
so far it's cranked out 311rwhp 332rwtq and the A/F needs ALOT to be desired.
someone either email me at bschlaht@gmail.com if they know of a shop that CAN tune my car, or know of someone else on the side that does tuning.
I would really like Jordon Musser to do it but he's not in the DFW area much from what I can tell, unless all the stars are in alingment LOL.
Thanks guys
-Ben

ask him if he works w/ the '95 year LT1...i have OBDI w/ the OBDII plugin under the dash.
if he does indeed do tuning for it, and does a good job, I may be sold on him....let me know!
and keller's not too far away.....where are you dynoing at man?

as far as mods, it's just the cam, rockers, LT headers and true dual exhaust is my main power mods.....the other usual bolt ons include 160* thermo (fans adj. made in computer, plus manual fan control), throttle body bypass, K&N cold air, I'm running stock 6 speed w/ stock 10 bolt rear and 3.42 gears.
It has been tuned (partial tune) once already, and I got a feeling we'll need to fix a few things

The place I took mine too is called A@S automotive and the guys name is Scott...he did a GREAT job on my car today and I highly recommend him..He gained 30-35hp from 3k rpms to 6k rpms..My car screams now
Cant wait to take it to the track!
I met a guy from this site up their also who has a very nice lookin 94Z w/ a solid roller setup,12 bolt,etc.. and his username is something like "Brent 94Z" I believe
Good meeting you Brent if you see this! Hopefully everything on your car turns out okay and you see some big #'s..

I need help finding someone who can help me tune my car as well. It's a basically stock LT1 in a 69 camaro. I need to get it to stop throwing codes and it seems to be running rich...
