trade my 95 TA for a clean third gen
It would have to be a heck of a nice 3rd gen. Build quality and ride are horrible IMO. Don't try to open a door while the car is jacked up at either end or corner, it won't open
Not to mention performance, is it s TB or a 350 TPI that was designed for a 305, another GM flaw in design work.

Depends what years and what motor combo. If its a 301 or 80-81 models, those aren't worth near as much as other years. If its a early 70's I would do it, those are worth quit a bit more, if its got a SD455 engine its a no brainer, those are worth $20k+ depending on condition, I know if several for sale for $65k.
All comes down to what model. Build quality of the 2gens isn't great either, especially towards the end of the 70's when they made 100k+ of just Trans Ams per year...thats doesn't include the Firebird, Formula, Camaro, Z28, models.
If you are speaking about Camaros, then there's also several very collectable years of those too, early 70's split bumper is one that comes to mind...not as familar with the 2nd gen Camaros.
