359 ci LT1 this shortblock is from Jim Moran aka "INTMD8" His car was well known for the fact that it was a very clean streetable(A/C, T56, full interior) turbo car for the power it was making. To give you an idea, with this shortblock he dynoed 890rwhp/855rwtq, ran a best of 9.68@146, and did 199mph in the standing mile.

Specs:
359ci LT1. 3.5in stroke forged Eagle crank, 6.0in Eage H-beam rods, 4.040 bore CP reverse dome pistons -23cc., Hellfire rings, Clevite H bearings, Internally balanced. Block has 3 center mains splayed 4 bolt. It was freshly rebuilt when I purchased it, including an align hone, new bearings/rings, and the crankshaft was turned .010 under.

What year is the LT1 shortblock and the LT1 aluminum heads? When you say needs rebuilt, what do you mean? Is it blown up or just a lot of miles/wear, and also wondering the same thing about the condition of the heads?
