thinking about getting rid of the car...
well im about to leave for ft jackson here in few weeks and after that il be in korea for a year prolly so i wont get to work on my car at all for the next year at least AGAIN!!! on top of that il prolly go to iraq once more so i just dont have the time to finish this car or to even enjoy it.
i would really like to trade if for a street car that is modified but not to the extent that its a POS now b/c of racing. only issue i have is that i have about 30k into this car and i will be losing my *** like no other so i would prefer a NICE car to trade for. id prefer a LS car but if a rare or really nice LT1 was presented to me i would highly consider that too.
anyways i know its a broad plan and what i want but if anyone knows someone who is willing to trade let me know. the car comes as is and i would sit down with the new owner and go over everything that has been done and what needs to be done to finish the car (not much left to do seriously)

plus draging the car all over the place is a pain in the ***. im talking to a dude from cali right now about trading for a 99 SS thats got a few things done to it.
if someone came up to me with a NICE LT1 car and a gsxr i would trade right now.

Look at it this way, store it at your parents while you are in Korea. If you can save your money while you are there instead of banging drinky girls and then save the cash from the next Iraq vacation you will have plenty to finish it and buy a gsxr. I hate to see you let all of that work go and lose out on all that cashola and time.

beer noc !!!! you doing that crap on ft hood or are you going to where all the grunts go?
it really doesnt need all that much man, brake lines need to be flared and hooked up, frigure out the 128 code in the xfi box, put a pipe on the cold side to the intake, setup the suspension, when it finally runs tune it, put the rear 3" studs on so the prostars will go on, paint the front end again and im sure a few odds and ends here and there.
it just comes down to i dont have the time or the resources right now to do this, i really need to get buddy buddy with a few race shops to help out here and there since this is my first "race car" to build. iv been working on this for like 2yrs now and its just gotten oil pressure and fuel pressure lol.
gimme the van and your car and we will call it even. but i get to keep my A/F gauge b/c yours looks like something from pep boys lol.
seriously if anyone is interested talk to jeff (my96z) he has seen how cool this car is and how much it is really worth.

Dude you are soo close. When do you leave again? I bet we could get all that crap done in a weekend. Then you will forget all of this madness....

I am going to need one, I think a bearing is on the fritz in mine, thats where I am getting the vibes from on coast/decel.
Still waiting on my cam from Comp so I can look to start getting the other crap I need for the head/cam swap. Heads apparently are ready.
No I have to go here on the hood. I kinda wanted to go to Knox to get away for a bit, but this way is probably easier and less hassle.
I have some 2.5" mandrel bends I used for my van intercooler plumbing. Think they will work? I might even have some misc. hoses

Wow, that is an amazing car to sell, especially after all that money and work! Ill trade you my LT1 for it! Yeah right your car is a LOT nicer than mine. Damn, I wish I could have seen this thing done!
TTT im pretty serious about this so if you have ANY LS1/2 cars and want to trade let me know. i spent like 2hrs just now going over the wiring for the ignition and i still cant get this bastard to start so im just giving up.... f it.
