Is there anyone in Austin that wouldn't mind checking out a car that is at Maxwell Nissan (north Austin) for me? I would be extremely greatful! All I am looking for is a quick drive to make sure there is nothing major wrong with it.

 

I would but the only places that seem to think im a serious buyer are the Pontiac and chevy dealers since i own a 01 Z and a 94 Z other than that they think im a punk kid come to joy ride in their little 6 cyl.

I don't think you would have to deal with any of that. I have already spoken to the salesman, and want to buy the car, but don't want to put a deposit on it sight unseen. It is a '93 Nissan, so they aren't going to hassle you

Interestingly enough, a friend of mine bought one of those new back in 93. It was a fun little car. as far as performance, if you're interested, pretty much anything that bolts on to a nissan sentra se-r will work on that. It handles great as well.

Sorry Chuck, but the car was sold this weekend. At least that is what salesman Beau Brakker (sp?) told me this morning. I walked the lot with him before he finally went inside and verified that it was sold. He tried to show me some other cars in that price range. He had a Sunfire and a 90 Nissan 240. Niether car was in very good condition so I don't think you may have missed out on an exceptional deal. Sorry,
