fair enough. i wouldn't use it to judge our cuisine or our culture (IIRC, it was trying waaay too hard to be 'texan', heh), but i don't think it'll be full of drunk idiots. i'd recommend chuys or especially gueros over it; i dunno what the wait will be like, tho.

seriously, tho... there's lots of cool stuff in this town. also catstastegood and i (and our girls) are going shooting tomorrow. you and DWray are invited if you want to do some damage to some paper.

I haven't been to Shady Grove since I moved here but I remember getting a really good green chili burrito there a couple years back. I have the feeling it will be packed like a mother ****er on a Friday night...do they do reservations?

I never turn down a chance to ventilate something. I am not bringing any of my gear down with me (not checking any bags), so I will have to borrow someone else's. Both the wife and I are trained and know what we are doing so that sounds fun.

I'll do my absolute best to be at The Shady Grove on Friday at 8:00.

The only reason I won't be there is if someone comes in to town to meet up with me about some purchased stuff. I have no idea when that will be, hopefully not tomorrow.
