You will have a blast down here. Hopefully some of the locals will be able to show you around some cool places and make it feel more like home. Any luck with locating a job down here yet?

Since I surprisingly got a job that I really, really like (even though it is temporary), I have halted my job search down there. It can end in two weeks or go as long as 4-5 months. It is really up in the air so I still have Texas on my mind, which is why we are still heading down to visit. When the time is right, I plan to make the move.

Actually, now that I remember the date, I will likely be in Dallas around that time.

Nope, we have no idea where. We have never been in Texas before.

We are definitely open to suggestion.

^^^Kinda like Charlottesville, VA. A bastion of liberalism in the midst of the rest of us. (Of course Northern VA is excepted as being another country entirely.)
