talon for sale!
Black/tan leather. Interior I in great shape, exterior is ok (newish but cheap paintjob, and some hail damage ƒ¼ ).
1992 Talon AWD Turbo 5spd, right around 100K miles. Has braided brake lines. Car overall is in great shape, I bought it to be a daily driver 2 years ago, but the motor let go. Car has some hail damage.
Here is the twist.
I pulled the motor, and never put it back in. however, the motor is a big rod/95+ piston rebuild. 1mm overbore, balanced, new bearings, balance shaft elim kit etc. also have a box of goodies, complete engine gasket set, couple of head gaskets new WP, etc etc. flywheel is freshly machined.
So, I am asking either $1500 for the car and motor. All the parts to put it back together, but because its been sitting in boxes for so long.. who knows. Like I said, I personally took it apart and put all the bolts and parts in boxes/bags so it should all be there.. but I can¡¦t make an garantees every little misc part is present :0
Remember the motor is OUT AND APPART, so it will take some mechanical ability to put back together. Other than the motor/trans the rest of the car is 100% together. Also, included are brand new front half shafts and a few other misc new parts.
Buschur Racing sells a similar motor for $2000.. for JUST THE MOTOR!! Get a car+motor for less!

Could you send me a Private Message with more details about the car? Mods, detailed engine specs, etc. Do you have pictures of it? (other than the coilovers on your site, they are included, right?) I'm about an hour and a half from Dallas (around Tyler) so I can't come check it out at a moment's notice
I think I know some locals with cars very similar that can give me a test ride.
I only started considering cars like this last weekend. I'll be moving to Houston early next year and could use something else to drive most of the time. My impy gets crappy gas mileage with the 4.10s, converter, etc. This would be a great "beater/daily driver"

However, when I first started checking out cars, the AWD Turbo Talon was around the top of my favorite cars. At least this has several redeming qualities

yea, AWD+turbo is cool 
with out a whole lot of work, they can go high 12s.
anyway, the car is stock other than the motor and the braided brake lines.
I can try to take some pics next time I am in dallas, hopefully this weekend.
