sonic 11-25

cheese and rice, man!

what a turnout a whole lot of f bodies many of whom i have never met before. granted i have been working a lot lately but last night was just NICE the people who left when i got there should have just stayed 5 more minutes - we would have taken up that entire side of the sonic. i know i know, everybody did show up way late, but what a great turnout.

which leads me to this. we need to get a F-body meeting in the works other than at sonic. if we can get something together with everybody that showed up there last night, we could easily get about 20 cars together.

i say we pick a wednesday and head out to alamo or SAR again.

Ive never made it out. My wife is Millitary, and has been working evenings. I have to stay home and babysit. She switches to days real soon. Post up here to remind me, and I will probably make it out.

Once the 422 is back I'll be back over there again. I should hopefully have it back in a couple of weeks. We'll see... Great to know the meets are still going on and the turnouts have been great. Hope to see you all out there again soon!

I am not one to complain, but I thought we all agreed to meet at 8pm? There have been numeral occasions where my brother, friends and I show up and no one is to be found. I know everyone has busy work schedules and other things that they have to do, but we show up consistently at 8 and there is no one to be found. I mean if you show up and have to wait an hour before everyone begins to show, by then one would have figured no one is going to come by.

Last week we stayed a little later and everyone showed, but that was a mere 20 minutes compared to this week's hour delay. I enjoy going, but if we agreed 8 then I am going to be there by 8.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad the meetings are getting stronger in numbers. I just hope that it continues to be consistent, but I just want to actually be there when everyone shows.

I have to agree with firebird_fury (my brother). We always show up at 8, and a lot of us are wondering where everyone is? It is not a major issue, but a lot of us leave early because no one is present, and therefore we leave early. Let's just set a time, so that way those of us that show up on time don't have to leave early.

solution is to leave it at 8 pm. its a perfect time. i, when i can go, usually get there at 8. just this last tuesday i was in san marcos at 8. i do know that a few members are in school at that time, but they still show up after class.

there used to be a roll call post before every meeting. maybe that should be done more often to know who to expect.

i say 8 oclock is a good time.

Leave it at 8pm. It's always been a good time as everyone has said. As long as someone posts on the board that there is going to be a meeting then that should be all we need. That way everyone one will get a decent idea of who is going and what kind of turnout to expect. I'll start posting on some of the other boards as well and see if I can pull some more cars over to the meeting. I've noticed that over the past few months that a lot of new faces are popping up on the boards. Good to know the f-body crowd is still alive and kicking.
