Okay guys, here's the scoop. The Thursday night gathering at the car wash has officially changed. I personally spoke with the manager at the new Sonic in Richardson today, and got her personal approval to meet there. She was completely excited about the whole deal! I made a promise to her that there will be no burning out, trashing the parking lot, or lude behavior. There's more to the story, but I don't want get too excited yet. So, next thursday(6-10) we will meet at the new Sonic, on the west side of Richardson Square Mall at 7:30 pm. If ya'll have any questions, please get a hold of me.

 

is this an lt1 deal? or fbodys in general? my best friend has 94 z28 and another friend has a 00 ss. when i get through putting duals on ill probably roll out there. are there lots of people or what?

 

This is an F-Body get together. LT-1's...LS-1's... it's all good. We are a small group now, maybe 10-15 strong. But, we are in the process of expanding right now. So come on out and have a good time! We'll be out there next Thursday.

 

Sweet, now we can chow down while we're gawkin' at each other's cars.

Oh, and by the way, jpw66, I never called on that opti. I found a guy with a slightly used one for MUCH cheaper. If you need a good name for one though, PM shawn(our moderator) and he knows a guy that gives a good price.

Hey here's another cool thing about the Sonic meet....the manager is going to make Thursday nights $.99 burger nights! She also says that Sonic will sponsor a monthly car show and pay half of the cost's for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophies.

This Sonic has TONS of parking spots. And since it backs up to the mall, we could even use that parking too.

Hey, if you want to come and hang out with some other F-Body owners and have a fun chill time, then come. If you are so concerned about it "being cool", then don't come. It's just some guys from LS1 and Z-28 having some laughs and sharing info on our cars.

 

last time we rolled out to something like this, it was a bunch of highschool punks who didnt really know anything about their cars and were just driving what daddy bought.

 

Well Colorchange, I'm sorry 'bout your bad luck. All I know is there are probably no high school kids in our group. And if there are, who cares. Come on out and enjoy the company of some beautiful cars. If you have a good time, then come again next week. If it's not cool enough for you, don't come back out. But you never know unless you try.
