But here's my deal... I'm not sure if I will be making the trip with an open 3.08 diff; or a Zexel-Torsen 3.42 rear.

Got the gears, got the Y87 VIN, and the LSD is scheduled to be here April 3rd. I E-mailed Ahart about the possibility of getting the install done on the 3rd or 4th. I'm awaiting an response from him.

If it all comes together, I might be able to make the trip and it be comfortable, heh, imagine that. I can't remember what its like to hear only the exhaust.

Are we going to use radio's? I've got three, so I'll lend out a couple.

Are we going to do the picnic thing and bring stuff, and find some park or something.
Going to a restaurant?
Are we planning for picture and rest stops?
Or are we planning on hauling @$$ and hoping nobody blows anything up or gets nabbed?
I am going to try and bring a passenger for filming, if not, I'll still bring my camera and try to shoot what I can when I can.

I suggest before heading out, we meet a little early for last minute game plans, changes, and fluid level checks. I'll bring the towels and a few oils.

Please remember to bring a jacket and keep an eye on the weather forecast. I don't want to re-live SLP-Day. I brought everything including the kitchen sink that day, except for what I needed most.

i told you what my hopes where,but i'll post them here foreverybody else.
....i was hoping we could cruise down to floresville. 30 minutes south of san antonio. when we get there grab, a bite to eat at one of the many barbeque place they have there. while there eat and talk about further business and then cruise on back to san antonio. just having a huge camaro convoy would be awesome. then if people want, my house is always open when we get back.
i didnt want to make it a long hour cruise cause we are just starting out. maybe in the summer we can go to places like schliterbahn, enchanted rock, canyon lake, etc, etc, etc. i figure if we make these small ones a success, the big oneshould follow suit.

guys, please post if you are up for a short cruise or post or email other plans you might have.

Barbeque sounds good.

I talked to Ryan about the installation and he said he could do it on the 4th. So, hopefully if the gears come in by the 3rd and everything goes together.... GEEZ I wish my clutch would hold together under torque.

 

Floresville and Barbque sound good. I'm changing my oil this weekend so the wicked98 should be good to go.

My oil is good but I really wanna try out the new Fram Sure Drain, see if it makes it any easier, or cuts down on splashes.

I am up for a cruise on Saturday, I don't really care where we go. I think I might bring Kate along as well, we'll see.

we are the sick sixx, but to distinguish ourselves on the boards we are sass. you are not lost, we are just up and coming- the sick sixx has been around for a few years, but SASS was born 22MAR03.
