SA-Town SLP go'ers

Okay, so, when and what time are we meeting up for SLP day for our trip up to Austin.

I figured it would be around 1604 and I-35?

May I suggest the Nacogdoches exit, and meet in parking lot of
Wal-Mart at Whataburger?
-Easy to exit,
-Easy to get back on the highway,
-Just a couple exits ahead is the turn for I-35 towards Austin.
-And it's a big enough parking lot that we will easily find each other and won't be cramped?

If anyone needs gas, there is a Gas station built into that Wal-mart. Dunno the price, but I know SAM'S gas is always cheapest.

Before taking the trip, remind yourself to check all your fluids. Do not want to take a 3 hour road trip and find you are a quart low in tranny fluid, and then flog the hell out of it at the track.

??? 75mph ??? We'll be lucky to keep that as a starting speed.
I'm sure some of us will be hitting triple digits during this tour de force.

Ben's right some of us may have some fun on the way up there.

Also you may want to consider buying a Family band radio so we can keep in touch on the way up, they only cost $20 at walmart.

Ben are you driving your grand am up there?

I have 3 of those radios. I will loan out two to any persons going. I am also bringing along a portable CB for a person to use. If anyone else has or is considering getting, even a cheapie CB, please let me know. I am planning on taking the CB out of my mustang and install it on the Camaro for the track day. So if anyone has one, it'd be a great asset. But, if not, like I said, I have the radio's, and I'll bring them regardless.
