Jack, about disabling the Daytime Running Lights. (DRL) Um, the upper dash on your 2002 is different from my '98. I dunno when they changed that. On mine I just pop that defrost panel out and then fix the jumper-wire to the doo-dad right there.
We may be able to pop your cover plate off of your Radio/Climate controls and snake an arm back there to get it. But I'll try and see if someone else has a quicker and easier fix for you.
