Rock 101 has been canned

Im sure some of the people in Houston have noticed/heard that Rock 101(a 34 year old rock station) has been replaced with another spanish radio station. This was very unexpected and unannounced. A group of people in the Houston area are trying to get as many people as possible to call/write in and complain to Clear Channel(the owners of the station). The address is as follows:

CLEAR CHANNEL

Key People
• Chairman: L. Lowry Mays
• President, CEO, and Director: Mark P. Mays
• EVP, CFO, and Director: Randall T. Mays

Address: 200 E. Basse Rd.
San Antonio, TX 78209
Phone: 210-822-2828
Fax: 210-822-2299

I remember those. Damn that sucks. I use to tune in all the time when I was in the area. Heck we could hear them in La Grange. Just one more radio station that I can't listen to anymore. It's starting to happen more and more.
thanks rain channel..

Re: Rock 101 has been canned

You know it's time to close the damn borders when they see better profits in a tejano station then a very popular rock station.

Freaking ridiculous. I turned to the Buzz, turned back 10 minutes later, and it was mexican crap! WTF!

Dunno if ya'll noticed yet, but as of today Wendy Miller is now "queen of the mid-day world" on The Buzz.
