Do third gens have rev limiters, i got a 91 rs but the tack is screwed up so i dont know what rpm i'm at? i just wanted to know if there was a rev limiter so i can rev it higher without be scared of blowin it up?

My 92 RS had a rev limiter...think it was at 5500 if I remember correctly...also had a mph cut-off.

 

Did your tack work and what was the mph cut off?

 

My tach appeared to be accurate, and I think(!!) the cut off was at 110 or around there.

 

blac if your speedo works and ya know the size of the back tires and what rear gears ya have, i can prolly help ya find rpms that you run in each gear at a given mph. pm me if ya ya'd like

 

assuming 3:23 gears and "normal"~26" tall size tires, should hit 5500 at around.....
1st 44mph
2nd 68
3rd 98
4th 132
5th never make it

if 2.73's
1 52mph
2 80
3 116
4 lol
5 lol

Hey old93z i got 308 gears and my tack says i idol at like 2300 its wack, but that would be cool if u could get me that info. are u goin to slp day? i'm goin up friday and gettin a hotel.
