Post Reputable Mechanic in Austin for Engine R&R

The mechanic at Henna I am working with on my 383 project is laying down on me. I'm tired of waiting(6mos) and would welcome any input regarding a reliable mechanic in the Austin area. I'm having all my machine work done at Pflugerville Machine and have heard good things about their work. They also gave me a killer deal on the rotating assembly. I want my Z back yesterday!! Please advise.

My brother had his 92 Z engine R&R done at Autotek on Gillis st. It is right off of Ben White by Discount tires. They did a good job at a fair price. they specialize in performance work.

Thanks for the responses guys. Unfortunately, I spoke with Leonard @ Autotek(B&B Performance) about two months ago and from what I gathered, he wanted to put me through the ringer. $4600-$4800 for a turn key 383 using mostly stock components. Upgrades only included: pistons(Keith Black), piston rings, rod bearings, & crank(scat steel). This is not even porting/polishing heads! For some reason I didn't see the value. I'm sure they do great work, but I'd rather do business elsewhere(local). I got most of my top end today...Brand spankin' new LT4 heads & intake manifold from a local guy all for the price of roughly one head through gmpartsdirect.com! I would still really appreciate any input on any shops, or mechanics here in central TX.
Thanks,
Cody

First and foremost, I need the engine removed from the vehicle! Then I/we can remove the stock heads, intake manifold and accessory brackets. Then I can take it to the machine shop, where all the work and reassembly(longblock) will be done. The car is not driveable so it must be trailered to any location to pull the motor. Currently it's at a Chevy dealership here in Austin. I have a truck that's my current daily driver so hauling the motor isn't really a problem either. I just don't have the facilities to pull the engine.
