People with Long Tubes! emissions question.

For you people with long tubes on your daily driver. I want to get headers and figures i would rather just go all the way instead of getting shorties.

1. Will i be able to pass emissions with out any problems and what if i get a cam later?

2. Will i need to be able to get the ones with emission hook ups?

3. What is the best/proven headers that i can get?

4. is anything else needed besides the headers and a y-pipe.

Thanks for any info.

i would go with hooker longtubes, if you get a y pipe w/ cats you can pass the emmissions part but no the visual (if you have a visual). it depends on what cam you get on emissions.

You can get the JetHot Lontubes with provisions for "air" and "egr".

I had Hookers and they were great but fitment was a "slight" issue...on my friends car though they had no problems so who knows...BUT all of my friends with Jet Hots have said the headers went in with no problems whatsoever... I would have to say if I did it all again I woulda gone JetHot.
