Did you all see this nice little tid-bit. I wonder how many of these supporters realize this?

"She added there would be an additional cost for taxpayers to incarcerate someone charged under stricter regulations for drag racing. "

In Hot Rod Magazine this month, a side article said that (I believe) Nevada passed a law that will allow officers to charge specatators with the same 1,000.00 dollar fine as the drag racer. Yeesh.

I don't suppose I could get away with it if I brought some sunglasses and a folding cane??? ...I saw nothing!

Forget spectators. Most street races are not planned. The majority of races occur when you happen across someone willing "and able" (most folks I know, including me don't even worry about "Chump nugget" in his grannies accord) to give a run. We've all been there stopped at a light and a Stang pulls up or going down the road and someone evens up with you then revs. Saying spectators encourage street racing is like saying the media encourages war. Its interesting to watch but if it wasn't there, we'd be doing something else. Sorry if this post is a little incoherent, I've been indulging in fermented hops and barley.

True Bill. I think what they are getting at would would be more the equivalent of SouthWest Military where people are lined up and down the street in literally thousands, watching the car show.

You know somethings up, when it's past midnight and your stopped in seemingly rush hour traffic!!!

Anyone from the SAFBA have enough guts to go down there as a group and cruise it?
...Pack yer nine!
or if you're Steve - a frickin' cannon.
