Question Need rearend help [Garland]

I bought a Firehawk in February. I was told that it has 4.10:1
gears in it. I believe that because with a GPS and a calculator, all
the numbers come out to 4.10.

Well, my rear end is making a lot of noise. I know it sounds like a
personal problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Do all 4.10:1
sets make noise?

When I bought the car, the rear was whining almost all the time,
except when I let off the throttle. I don't know if it's gotten
worse or if it just bothers me more, now. I drove it to Fort Hood
and back and I thought I was going to lose my mind.

My wife doesn't like the car and wants me to sell it. I think it's
just because it's so darn loud. She wants a MINI Cooper S

I have no idea what brand of gears are in there. How do I check?

I have no idea what type of gear lube is in there. Is there one brand that will make it quieter?

Is it possible to adjust those gears even after they have a few thousand miles on 'em, or are they toast?

Anyone in the Garland area want to check out my rear?

Will 3.73:1 gears be quieter? Is there a significant power loss?

I need Pros Cons & Prices.

If I can get my rearend quiet, maybe my wife will want to ride it
again.

Thanks,

I can take a look at it for you. I have a shop that specializes in rearend work. Sounds like there could be a bad bearing, or the gears were set up wrong. email me, and we can set something up.
