Unhappy Need help NOW with a car repair!

Ok guys, I'm really in a tight spot here.

Here's the situation. I own a '96 Z28 with about 145k on the clock. It blew a head gasket (which or both I don't know). I live in an apartment, and don't have anything close to the tools (or know how) as to doing a head gasket. I have transportation in the mean time, but need to get the car running. The car got towed from my apts. because it sat while I was out of town on business.

I need someone that would be willing to do this for me. I'll pay cash. I get paid friday the 7th and will have about $1000. All the shops I've called that are "good" want 1200-1800 to do the job, other shops have quoted me less, but..........I'm scared they will mess it up of screw me.

If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to pay to get it towed anywhere and pay to have it fixed. I live in north dallas, the car is over in Garland off the Hwy 12 (north west hwy). I'm in a bind, I'm trying to call in my good karma points.

If your interested please, please, please call me @ 972-897-3375 ANY TIME!

I owe money on the car, more than its worth, so I can't just get rid of it or sell it.

Thanks,
Jac

If you can get it to my house, I can do it. You would have to leave it here for a couple of days though. I live about 40 miles east of dallas. You could probably find someone else closer though. But in the event that you do not find someone else, PM me and we'll work something out.

I might me able to do it. It would have to be towed to Coppell though. I'll call you later and we can discuss.

I'll do it for $300+ gaskets and fluids with headers or $400 with manifolds but I'm in Wichita Falls. Its about 1 1/2 hours north west of DF/W. I had a guy that lived in Temple that towed his car all the way up here to get me to change his head gaskets. LMK
