so i realized today while putting the engine together that im missing the piece to the rear main that bolts to the block. this is the piece that bolts to the block that the rear main seal sets into. i sold the other piece with the old motor on accient. if anyone has one let me know.

BTW Bill would you have the stock torque arm mount that goes onto the transmission (T56)? I have half of mine.

 

jeff let me look in the shop tomorrow and i see if that mount is there if so you can have it. il give you a call and let you know whats up. il be back down there on the 24th for a ortho appointment off ws young. now i need some oil filter adapter bolts GRRRRRRR all i did all day was put the oil pump on, pump rod and the plastic part in the valley... and oil pan studs. this canton pan is pimp. gonna call FX and ET heads tomorrow to see where my stuff is. il have mucho pics come the 24th

 

I think I have an oil filter adapter bolt here at my house that you can have. I actually work right near ws young and CTE so you could pick it up if you wanted them.

sweet tex i might have to take you up on that offer bro. im bout to get in the shower and then head over to bills work to get the part and on the way back im gonna stop off and try to get some more ARP bolts for everything since im trying to keep it all ARP.

when i get off leave we are gonna have to have a BBQ or something, il get ahold of the chick on LS1tech and see if they have anything going on and if us LT1 guys can come out. i did see her at sonic and almost went up to her to see what they got going on but shes so hot that i got scared lol j/k i was too busy to stop too long.

As for the mustangs... i am so sick of seeing them everywhere around here Ive seen quite a few nice f-bodies running around, but way too many stangs. I should have my Z28 road ready in about a week or so (need to order a cat, o2's, and a cts).
The car is mostly stock, I just put a new LT1 in it, but its been running very rich, and fouling out plugs. So hopefully those few things will take care of the issue, and I can get it inspected, and whoop on some stangs.

Funny though Ive never driven the car and I love it, I already have the mod bug. I just wonder what Im gonna do next?

 

i would say lets all get together thursday or something and go eat or some **** but my mom is going with me down there for my appointment so we can kinda spend some time together and what not, i dont think she would enjoy hanging with a bounch of gear heads.

 

Matt I havent forgot about you. My camaro has been down for a few years due to Iraq and Army scheduling, but its moving under its own power now and should be out prowling soon. I will be getting with you. You are still going to school man? Damn, you going to be a brain surgeon? lol J/K

Yea, I'm still in school up at Tarleton State University. I took two years off and went back in the Fall of 2005 and I'll be getting out of here in the Fall 2008.
