I have what is suppossed to be a virgin 4-bolt block.. never checked the bores to verify, but it doesn't appear to have been run.

$250

texlurch-

Let me know if block is not sold to onebad96 - don't want to ambulance chase, but if he doesn't want the block, I'll take it, assuming:
it is stock bore
mains are not damaged
it is indeed a 4 bolt LT1 block
Cam bores not trashed
Not a rustball or broken/damaged

Lemme know.
Thanks,
John

I'll put the snap gauge to it tomorrow, but I am pretty sure it is virgin. I bought it a couple years back for a project, but never built it. It is sitting in a Vega for a "dummy" motor right now...

Might have a 383 Scat crank for sale also.. have to verify another plan before I put it up.

What do you want for the block and the crank?

Thats if there is nothing wrong with the block i dont mind if its a fresh 30 over bore.

Looks like I will hold onto the crank for a while. The other one I was thinking of is a 2-piece seal.

I'll verify the bore on the block tomorrow; there is nothing wrong with it at all.

Bore measures out to 4.001; doesn't look like it was ever finish honed. The cam bearings also don't show any wear. I don't remember (had it for a few years now), but it seems to me it was represented as virgin when I bought it.

Has some minor surface rust in a couple cylinders from sitting around "seasoning", but nothing to worry about. PM or email if you are interested, because I need to figure out a time frame. It is currently holding up my LT4 heads in a buddies Vega so we can build his exhaust.. so I need to get to work!
