I have been reading a lot about these cars and two things you should consider before buying one. 1)They are having driveline vibrations above 75mph and 2)the top speed is limited to something like 115mph. It does not have the low-end grunt of the Impala SS, but it does ride tight and the fit-finish is top notch. Personally I'm going to wait a couple of years while they work all the bugs out. I hear that they may come out with a supercharger in the next couple of years. One car I hope Ford builds is the 2004 Police interceptor. I don't know if you've heard about it, but they have been testing one with the F-250 V10 that put's out 340hp and over 400tq. Popular Mechanic's magazine had an article about it a month or two ago.
I agree they are VERY cool cars but $35K COME ON! That is too much money. A 96 Impala SS was $23K loaded. Not to mention a 96 Impala is still quicker 0-60, 1/4, and brakes better than the new Maurader.
I would save about $15-$20K and look for a nice, low mileage Impy.
<---- wants to line up with a Maurader SOOOO bad at a light.

1995 Impala SS
12.49 @108.83
Stock shortblock, no power adders, and full weight.

Caddy is supposed to put the 300+ hp LS1 into the new CTS soon to combat the marauder. That should be cool.
