Looking for a 66' or 65' Mustang coupe for sell!!!!
Hey guys,
I’m going to be looking for a mostly unrestored 1965 to 66 coupe for a project car this summer. I'd like to pay roughly $2000 for it. I live in the Fort Worth area in but I’m in Lubbock going to school right now. Ill be looking to buy in about June, but if I can, I’d like to come look at some cars over the Christmas break when I'm home. I want something with a motor and trans that runs. 302 or 289 preferred. I don’t car if its an auto or stick. It doesn’t have to run all that well or even have paint or much of an interior. So if you have anything you might want to get rid of shoot me an email. I’m very willing to negotiate and buy. thanks!

So anyway, does anyone have a stang they are looking to sell in the DFW area? I'd like to come look at it over the Christmas break.
thanks
I was just messing with you. that sounds like a cool project- hope it comes out good for you. even with all of the rivalry I like everything but the Rice. while talking about mustangs my GF's grand dad has a '66 all original with like 60K miles on it and it looks brand new.

my father bought a '73 mach 1 for $1800. he's put $10000 in it and it needs another $5000 before it's done.
the '67 - '68s are far better. the '64.5 - '66 used a falcon front end along with other falcon parts so it's really crappy on handling. '67 - '68 used a more unique front end which made things much better. there were a lot of other features they used on top of that for those two years as well. you'll get more for a '67 - '68.

Does anyone know about a car, or does everyone just have comments about why I shouldn’t be doing this project.....?
