Talking More info

car will start and shut off the fuel after 5 seconds---tried brain in another car and it works fine...optispark is still sparking after fuel is shut off because i can spray carb clnr and it will still run---it gets nice blue spark. i pulled fuel injectors and stated car with them above the intake to see the spark continue and the fuel stop on all injectors at once. i am speculating at this point that the vats system is somehow shutting down the fuel after 5 seconds. if the opti was bad the signal to run the sparkwould also dissappear...i still get good spark just no fuel. i am not sure how to get around vats at this point but i have to get this car running...it is taking way to much time and screwing with life and work. it is a 94z28 standard trans.....i pulled some datamaster files with the trial version but i cant look at them and no one has a scanner to look for codes.
thanks for any ideas or help and i live in frisco by 121 and preston

try freescan, if you can use datamster you should be able to use freescan to pull up the trouble codes.

Re: local help

I'd check the fuel pump too.. I'm betting you've tried that too though.
