Last call for buying my 2002 Trans Am WS6 before I lose big by takin it to CarMax!

I'm about to lose big by probably taking it to CarMax or trading it in for a truck for my mom, in which case I'll be losing big!

It's a 2002 Trans Am WS6, automatic, silver exterior, black leather, power everything, t-tops, 12 disc cd changer.

The car will only be sold with these mods, including an MTI intake lid, a FlowTech cutout, Vigilante 3200 torque convertor, 3.42 gears, TransGo stage 3 shift kit, B&M tranny cooler.

If interested, I'd need someone to tell me TODAY they could buy the car, as it's probably getting sold tonight or tomorrow. You wouldn't actually hafta buy it till the end of the week or so, but I'd need a down payment on the car today.

If you're interested, send me a PM or email @ grdlock@houston.rr.com with an offer.

Oh, the car only has 12,000 miles, so hell it's close to being brand new! Oh, it won't be sold with the Torq Thrust II wheels, I sold those and haven't taken em out of my sig yet It's got the stock rims on it which have a lil curb rash (I actually traded a friend of mine with a WS6 rims, and he apparantely loves curbs )

Sorry to hear you haveta get rid of it.

Carmax will only give you wholesale, though...so you will have negative equity on the trade-in. At one point I owed about $2500 more on the car than they wanted to give me in trade.

Good luck!

I'm looking for someone to buy the car for around $24,000.

The down payment is just to make sure you're serious about buying the car. I'd want a $500 down payment for me to hold the car until you have the full amount. (no more then a week)

The NADA Guide says the average retail for my car is $28,200, so I think $24,000 is a pretty fair price.

That's one of the big reasons I don't think I could ever bring myself to by a brand new car. 30% depreciation within the first year, .

I am very impressed with your 1/4 mile times especially considering the mods. Is that low of an ET about right for your mods or would you say that you have one of the "special" cars/engines that is a tick faster right off the showroom floor?

Good luck selling it, it looks very clean.

It's my mad drag racing skills!

I dunno, I mean most of the other LS1's I've seen race at Houston Raceway Park run mid 13's, and mine was running 13 flat bone stock. A friend of mine's WS6 ran the same times as mine though with similar mods, so I dunno.
