Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

And wow is this not worth the $208.69 that I paid.

Looks like they made it out out scrap metal and didn't even take the time to do good job buffing out the cuts. For the price I paid you think it would have come powder coated or at least looking good, nope.

I am sorely disappointed in their craftsmanship of this bracket. I have heard good things about them and after seeing their work on this, I don't get it.

I am not trying to flame them or get anybody not to buy there. Just wasn't happy with the product or how they sale them(don't accept credit cards?).

Thats my experience if you have a good one with madman racing, good for you. I hope they can learn somethig from this post.

Boy quick to throw a fit. Thanks for the chance to make it right. I emailed you and told you I would but going on a public board and not even giving me a chance is a joke.

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

Throwing a fit? How about I charge you $208 for a piece of hacked up metal.

If your going to make it right, make it right now. You should be getting my cashiers check I had to go and get soon. You decide what would be fair. It ticked me off that I was so excited to get this part and when I opened the box and saw it my heart just dropped.

I didn't want this to turn into a public bashing, was not my intent. But since you said I was throwing a fit..

I don't plan on buying from your company again. To much of a pain with your company not accepting credit cards, having to pay COD or mail you a cashiers check? Come on take a jump into the 21st century.

Please explain to me and everybody else how you justify charging $175 for piece of metal that looks like it was hacked up and thrown in a box?

Or than again you could do nothing cause I am just throwing a fit..

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

OK, Just talked to Brian at madman and he was more than willing to help.

He acknowledge the bracket I had received was the wrong one and will be sending out the correct one. That makes me feel a lot better about dealing with Madman racing.

Thanks

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

Can anyone post a pic of that bracket on an engine to show me how it looks...I need something that will fit in the 69 camaro engine bay and the lower area is tight (so tight the a/c has to be removed because it interferres with the front crossmember).

Thanks,
William

Also what do you make the bracket out of? CNC aluminum?

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

If you run a vette front bracket you can keep the a/c in a 1st gen.

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

Brian has the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I knew he would make it right. Hell I drove down there just to meet him and pic up all my parts. Also he has very good reasoning about why he doesnt take credit cards. MADMAN thanks for everything.

Re: Just got my MADMAN alternator relocation bracket

I know if i run a vette accessory bracket i can keep a/c but the old camaro doesn't have a/c. I just need something that will relocate the alternator so i can run a short belt and not have it going around 5 pulleys when i could just use 2.
