It's ALIVE!!!!!
After sitting my my combo motorsports cam kit for over a year, I finally have it installed.
BIG props to the guys at RPM in Lewisville. Truly great people. Other than a snafu at the powdercoaters, things went really well.
I ended up installing the XE224/230 cam, comp R lifters, Comp RR's, hardened pushrods, powdercoated red intake, LT4 valve covers, and AS&M 58mm throttle body.
Love the lope. Throttle response is instant rev compared to stock. Couple the cam with the AS&M headers and the 2 on the left SLP exhaust and you have a really nice sound. I can't wait until the break in period is over.
Now if I can get some programming done, I will be set. It needs a bit of idle help and it is running a tick hot, but overall I am very pleased.
