Intrest in trading TH400 for T56

Trying to get some feel for this swap. Ive got a built TH400 with 3500 stall converter, cutsom driveshaft, modded crossmemeber, and B&M Star Shifter. Id like to swap everything over for a good T56 with a good clutch. Im talking pedals and everything. Im about 3hrs from DFW area, so I could probably help and swap this all in a weekend or so if anyone has access to a lift. Email me for more info if you are interested.

Why are you wanting to get rid of this so bad? I am possibly intrested. Let me know what all has been done to your transmission

I just lost intrest in the setup. Its not fun for me to drive anymore. The whole setup was bought off of here earlier this year. Ive had NO problems whatsoever out of this trans. Ive had some good 1.6 short times on motor with this setup with a really rich tune on motor. The stall is an unknown brand, aprox 34-3500. The tranny has all new kevlar clutches and band, as well as a fairbanks shift kit. It comes with a dipstick pre bent for this car, and a custom made steel driveshaft, with the yoke for the tranny being a aftermarket HD unit. The other end of the driveshaft has a u-joint for a Moser 9in, but you can have another u-joint put in to fit your stock one or whatever. This is in a Formula right now. If you have a TA/Formula, I will include the console which I modded to fit the Star shifter. It doesnt look GREAT, but not bad. I was planning on a Pro Stick in a 97+ console, but never got around to it. If you are in the DFW area, I can arrange to where I could come down one weekend and help swap the two out. I will even include the tranny cooler lines, and a B&M tranny cooler.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask on here, or email me.

Thanks.

Just for everyones info, this is a LT1 car. I would love to find a 93 tranny with the deep first gear.

I will be in the DFW area this weekend. If someone would like to see how the tranny does I can take them for a ride.

Thanks for looking.
