Not really asking for a reply, but just a PM.

If it's in your driveway they can't site you cause it's personal property. Is it the home owners association or something? Only has to be legal if it's on the road.

no home owners association. but i own too many cars and they seem to have a problem with them. im in the process of selling some but sachse has actually changed some laws because i have found ways around existing ones. or so they tell me

usually they will do that over a non registered vehicle ive never heard of them doing that over an inspection unless its being driven around uninspected

My city says if the car is over 6 months out of date then they can cite you. I was told by one side of the city(police) that a car cover can be used. I straped it down to make sure the wind didn't blow it off, and there was a note saying we had to get rid of it or build a fence around it. Apparently they can look under the car cover.

These people are just trying to screw with you (unless we're not getting the whole story...). I'd get in contact with a lawyer and see what he has to say, because I don't see how the city can get away with what they are doing to you. Know your rights and fight back man.
