I need some help please!!!

I got in an accident this past week. (not in the Camaro, although it's out of service as well). Anyway, I got hit on the freeway partly my falt the result of this is a bent rear axle. I need some help in getting the old axle out and a new axle in. If someone could help me today I will buy them lunch and have plenty of (DRINKS) to help in this project. I really need to get this done today so please someone give me a call. 347-3857. Ryan if your not buisy that woudl be great and I could make myself available to help you move, I have access to many trailers so that might help as well. Please let me know.

I see you have a Moser rearend. I'll assume it's a 12-bolt
It's really EASY to replace axles, since they bolt in. You don't even have to take the rear cover off.
First, remove the wheel. Next, take the brake caliper/bracket assembly off. Then remove the (4) 9/16" bolts behind the axle flange. Then pull the axle out. You may need to tap it out from the back with a hammer, or use a prybar. But it should come out with little resistance.

Good luck

Thanks but it was in my truck that I had the accident. I got everything out all I have to do is get the old bearing out but I can not get it out. I bought a bearing puller but I don't really know how to use it. Drinks are still on me if anyone can come over.

If I didn't live 300 miles away, Id help
You probably need a shop press to get the bearing off(provided the bearings are pressed onto the axles). If you dont know anybody that has one, just go to a reputable machine shop and Im sure they can do it.

If the bearing is in the axle tubes(housing), you need a slide hammer and the puller jaws that go in behind the bearing.

Well after many head scratches and large amounts of alchol, everything is back together. Thanks anyway, it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Ahartz, if you need help still let me know. I can get two trailers plus my truck.

Let me know.
