Well a lot of you know the story of my trans am. I got inspired the other day to get it running again even with the knock, that probably wasn't such a good idea.

went driving down my street and got on it a little bit. Damn thing makes a hellacious noise and stopped. I towed it back home with my truck and looked under it.

threw at least 2 rods thru the oil pan. oops. but i looked up rebuilt motors at work today and saw that i can get a 4-bolt long block for $1700 with a 3 year warranty. thats at least some good news.

well i already knew i was gonna get a new motor. i just wanted to see how far this one would go.
