how to take an engine out

take u take a lt1 engine from the top or do you have to drop the front sub-frame?

i was asking this same question about a month
ago

go out the bottom their is 6 bolts holding the k-member to the frame and other then that it's just wires it's really not that hard.

Pull it from the top. A Happy Hooker from TPIS makes it easier but is not required. I've done it by myself more times than I have appendages. I've done it once from the bottom, PITA w/o a lift.


The jackstand stand inventor should be a candidate for the Darwin Awards. Hopefully that was a joke post.
