nope

Nope, not kidding. If you're only willing to pay $2500 for one, then you won't be getting one. I'm just telling you what I've seen. A brand new crate LT4 went for 6K on Ebay last year. A new one from GMHPP is around 7K, I think.

I think its cause for some reason the LT4 is "SPECIAL"

And there you have it. The proof is in the part #. AFter tax, the 7K was a little high, but I did say "around." Thanks, Extinct.

There are also key words here. USED, LOW MILEAGE, WRECK VETTE. LOL I wouldn't offer more than 2500. Maybe 3000 if its under 25K.

Not selling

I'm not the one selling it. Cory wanted to know how much LT-4 motors go for, and I offered the facts that I have seen. I was looking for one for a year or so because I thought it would be cool to have one in a Camaro, but found out that the A/C, cruise control, etc. is all in different location and would be hard to adapt. I'm not saying that I would pay 5K for one. I'm just stating that they DO sell for that much. Just because YOU don't think it's worth that kind of money doesn't mean that someone isn't willing to pay that much for it. Here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33615

You may have to cut and paste that.

LT4 would be nice in a camaro but this would be sweet in one.
