How many of you drive with no A/C.

My compressor just froze so I am thinking of just removing it. All so what do I got to do about the deleted pulley.
So overall is it that bad without A/C

No thanks. The A/C stopped working in my '98 2 weeks ago. Took it to a nearby shop. I told him I wanted it tested for leaks and refilled. He said the test wasn't really necessary since he saw no signs of leakage. He evacuated/refilled the system (from 7lbs to 22lbs) and charged me 90 bux. 2 weeks later and it's out again!
I'm going straight over there tomorrow morning and he better make good on my wasted 90 bux.About the only thing that works right on the '91 is the A/C. Guess which car I drove to work today???

Most cars take ounces btw, anywhere from 18-64 depending on if they have rear evaporator cores or not.

My A/C doesn't work for ^*%$$. I just bought the stuff to charge it. It's pretty rough not having A/C in Houston.

I pulled my AC almost a year ago to save on weight....you get used to it! Drive with the windows down,I like to hear the motor anyways...this car won't be my daily driver forever.....only time I miss AC is when it rains and I have to drive with the windows up
Gun for Hire , every pound of weight loss and every horse gained is the real goal , if I want to ride in the A/C , I rive the wifes barretta GTZ , or I have a couple of project cars that will have functioning A/C ( 91 Z-28 , and an 87 Trans Am GTA ) I mean you GOTTA have at least ONE car in the family that has A/C , but my 80-Z is my daily driver and if having no A/C means two tenths of a second quicker , that could be the difference in a win or a loss !!!!! ( And personally , I don't like to lose !! )
