ive been here since my first fbody, a slow v6 but its what got me started, been 2 years and 11 months now so ill just claim 3 years. so how long you guys been here and what got you started?

 

I have been around for awhile. My car is what got me started. If I had not of gotten my Z28, I doubt I would be into cars at all.

 

I think I have been here about 2 years. I use to drive a Mustang before I bought my Trans Am.

I started posting sometime in late 99/early 00. My account was deleted by mistake in Nov 00 and I had to start over. Same screen name but I lost 1,100 + posts

 

Since the board was started... Only began posting after I bought my Z28 though.

what got me started was my V6 camaro being so damn slow. i took it to the track and realized first hand how slow it was. i was determined not to be like all the people in san anto driving around thinking they are tuff caca just cause they drive a camaro- a V6 camaro.
now i think i have earned my respect, even if it is a V6 camaro.

 

i think the first name i registered under was like january 2000.

 

summer before last i believe. yeah, so almost 2 years.

i also have a slow v6 fbody. oh well

I too have been lurking here since the board started. It's really amazing that a person could gain enough knowledge here to buy, build and maintain a "hot rod". I to the board...

 

I've been here for about a year , but my hot rodding days started in 1972 with a 67 Mustang GT ( 390 HIPO ) but soon after I found a 70 SS 454 LS6 and my chevy days have never been the same since !!! ( Yup I'm OLD !!! ) Ed
