i was priced $60 for mine to be recoverd if i pull it out. the spry glue you get usually only works for a short while and can damage to board.

the $60 was far a hardtop. ttop may be a little more or less.

Or you can be **** like me and order a new one from GM, cost twice what a recovered one would cost but the way I figure it, as long as it lasts as long as me orignal one did, I'll be happy. We've had other GM cars head liners replaced in the past, and they always seemed problematic.

There's a board the headliner is glued to that pops off with plastic clips I believe. I heard that 3M Super adhesive will eat away at it but the regular stuff will not. Might wanna double check that though.

i have delt with a few liners. the cloth has a felt like backing that is what gives it the soft cushiny feel to the touch. that stuff breaks down and when you glue it the foam will stick to the board and the cloth will come off the backing and hang down again. just fix it right and be done with it. i thought i'd fix it myself and its now falling on my head again.

I was told that you can get a tube of super glue, and put it in a syringe and inject it into the headliner/push it up for a lil bit so the glue will spread and dry. The guy at the body shop told me about it, and he also said that it WILL make the headliner kind of hard in a few spots, so pending how bad it is, it might be worth it. I've never tried it, I just took the headliner out, with a strip car, you don't really need looks.
